SQLDBControl
Release 1.4.70000
24 May 2007
Code Changes:
1. Added keywords OR and IN as Intellisense items.
2. Made changes to support capturing of alias or table column names when pressing typing “[alias|table].” in the select_list of a SELECT statement.
3. Included Connect Timeout option.
4. When pressing the TAB key, relevant Intellisense lists are now only displayed if the caret position is at the EndOfLine position.
5. Changed License Key data collection such that the license key data will be pre-populated (based on previous user entry) for any other users running SQLDBcontrol for the first time on a machine that already has it installed.
6. When performing an undo-checkout operation the user is no longer prompted to save any changes.
Bug Fixes:
1. Fixed a bug where pressing the asterisk key (*) whilst a column Intellisense list was visible would incorrectly complete the selected Intellisense word.
2. Fixed a bug where pressing the “.” key after entering an alias would inadvertently insert a word from an Intellisense list (e.g. typing “s.”, where s is an alias, would result in “select”).
3. Fixed a bug where pressing the comma key would cause an exception under certain circumstances.
4. Fixed a bug where creating a new project from the main summary screen would cause an exception to occur just before opening the newly created project.
5. Fixed a bug where pressing the full screen button and subsequently clicking it again would cause an exception if the Package Explorer window was open
6. Fixed a bug where typing AND as part of an IF statement would bring up a column list if a DML T-SQL statement preceded the IF statement.
7. Fixed a bug where opening a new query window when editing an existing T-SQL Script would not correctly set up the connection details for the query, resulting in subsequent errors and/or exceptions.
8. Fixed a bug where Intellisense on a defined temporary table would break with an exception if the columns in the temporary table were defined using square-bracket identifiers.
9. Fixed a bug where clicking the Parse Query button when creating a new object (e.g. a View) would incorrectly create that object in the source control database, thereafter causing handled errors.
10. Fixed a bug where an exception would be raised when getting the latest object definition such that a save was required and the object happened to also be expanded in the summary view.
11. Fixed a bug where renaming a project could cause an exception and subsequent errors if that project had never been previously opened by the current user.
12. Fixed a bug where a user with insufficient permissions on a SQL Server 2005 instance could successfully run the “Get Latest From Server” command, which would retrieve and save an empty string against that object in source control.
