A maintenance release for the latest Version 2 beta is now available, containing several fixes and new features. The latest release can be downloaded for evaluation from www.sqldbcontrol.com/beta.aspx.

Feature Additions:
- Added functionality to allow server references within SQLDBControl to be renamed.
- Enabled permissions management for tables.
- Added an option to allow sorting of query results data by column.
- Added filtering functionality for query result sets.
Code Changes:
- When viewing difference report the column sort order that was most recently used for the difference report is now applied.
- When viewing deleted objects, if a given deleted object still exists on the actual database the status is now displayed as “Deleted from source control only”.
- Disabled the permissions button when editing scripts/queries.
Bugs:
- Fixed a bug where the most recently selected object wouldn’t necessarily be auto-selected when the summary list was refreshed.
- Fixed exception that would occur when clicking on the summary list whilst viewing differences and no actual differences existed.
- Fixed a bug where an exception would be raised if the “View Release Notes” link was clicked whilst the Check for Updates screen was half-way through the process of checking for updates.
- Fixed a bug where an exception could sometimes occur when checking in a table from the summary list whenever that table had been the most recently viewed table in a table editor.
- Fixed a bug where clicking on the “Remove Database” and “Remove Server” buttons in the Project Explorer would cause an exception.
- Fixed a bug where clicking on the “Add New Database” button in the Project Explorer would cause an exception under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug where an exception would occur when setting the auto-save interval to 0.
- Fixed a bug where an exception would occur when creating a new view.
- Fixed a bug where updating a reference or source table from the Differences window would sometimes fail to correctly update.
- Fixed a bug where, upon creating a new project, an exception could occur under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug where an exception would occur when attempting to change connection details under certain conditions.
- Fixed a bug where an exception would occur in various instances when working with tables whose names included single quotes (e.g. [‘My_TableName’])
