    Renaming objects

    How do I rename a sproc (both on the server and in source control) so that it's source control history is maintained?

    Re: Renaming objects

    You can do this by right-clicking on the object and selecting "Rename Object". This will change the name of the object in source control as well as on the server.

    The history will also be maintaned and there'll be an entry of "Object Renamed" in the history.
