Version 2.2 and procedures with periods in their name

I am still having problems with stored procedures with periods in their name.

I can check them out and edit them with no problems but when I go the check them in I get the following error:

"Then name of the object typed into the editor is different to the name you are editing."

I can click OK then it prompts me for a check in comment and I click OK.

It looks like the check in never happens though.

The name of the procedure is:

    dbo.usp_Billing_Group_Report_1.1

    Any insights or suggestions?

    Thanks!

Hi. I was under the impression that we had fixed this bug but I've been able to duplicate the problem so clearly we didn't.

To get around this problem, after making your changes, press F5 to execute the changes against the SQL Server This will automatically save the changes in SQLDBControl. Then close the editor and check in the stored procedure from the summary view. If you check it in from the editor it won't work.

We'll tackle this as a priority and will aim to get a fix for it as soon as we can.

Thanks for bringing this back to our attention.

We should have an update available within a month. That said, there's no reason why we couldn't release an interim build to you next week - if so just let us know and I'll contact you when we have an available build.

I think that I will wait for the automatic update, as long as it actually fixes the problem.
